He collaborates with companies and clients in the development of creative concepts and strategies for design communication systems applied to print, digital, editorial, and branding projects. He worked as a creative director, journalist, and designer at communication companies and newspapers for over ten years. He won the Esso Journalism Award in the Graphic Design category, the most prestigious award in Brazilian journalism. He also received the Print Design Award in New York and the Latin American Design Award twice. In 2025, he served as a jury member for the Brazil Design Award in the Graphic Design category. In addition to his professional practice, he researches and produces articles and interviews in the field of design, exploring a wide range of topics and engaging with professionals across the industry. He has also worked as a professor, delivering workshops and talks on design, communication, audiovisual media, publications, and related fields for over ten years. Felipe Goes holds a specialization in Design and a Master’s degree in Graphic Design and Editorial Projects from the University of Porto, Portugal, where he lived for two years. He also worked as a Senior Designer in the United Arab Emirates, where he lived for two years, developing projects for local and global companies as well as government entities. The project sought to translate traditional Emirati elements into a contemporary language, creating an immersive experience that connects memory, sport, territory, and hospitality. work focused on the development of the house’s internal windows. Through the layering of mirrors, I carried out several studies involving textures, images, and reflections capable of evoking fragments of memory and the cultural essence of the space. The design presented here brings together part of these experiments developed throughout the process, along with my notes and systematic perspectives on the project, as well as my personal investigation into creating a system for the construction, distribution, and organization of the windows throughout the architecture of the house. Here, I present part of the technical drawings, sketches, and development plans created throughout the different stages of the process. Another important aspect of the project consisted of presenting a series of conceptual and visual studies developed throughout the process, alongside the creation of an exclusive mobile application. I had the opportunity to design a proposal for the app to expand the visitor’s experience within the space, functioning as an additional layer of content through texts, photographs, and audio that contextualize and deepen the elements present throughout the exhibition. Inspired by the region’s landscape and culture, the project combined emblem design based on local vegetation with a refined typographic approach. Led by a group of four partners, the venture encompasses a diverse range of services and operations across hotels, restaurants, bars, and a coastal village complex. A key innovation of the project lies in the enhanced sense of freedom and autonomy offered to guests, enabled by a suite of customizable hospitality experiences. The project began with an extensive research and positioning phase during its first year. A central aspect of this process involved designing emblems inspired by local seaweed and regional vegetation, establishing a distinct identity for each of the four ventures while maintaining a cohesive system. The typographic development was grounded in an in-depth exploration of ITC Century, shaped by the project’s core concept. This led to a bespoke typographic language that combines contrasting styles, drawing inspiration from the playful compositions often found in French postage stamps —visually linking illustration and function. Rodrigo Marques, centered on a poem written by Samuel Maciel Martins. Emerging from a stark and unembellished landscape, the book employs dense, precise language to reveal the poetry embedded in the everyday lives of young Black residents on Brazil’s urban peripheries. Originally from Ceará, Martins was born in Quixeramobim — the same region that inspired Canudos. Within this context, his debut work presents a voice committed to preserving both personal and ancestral memory, guided by a bold and conscious artistic vision. The resulting poems resonate deeply, leaving a lasting and beautiful imprint for future generations. Printed entirely in black, the book features a deliberately minimal and austere design. The rhythm of the texts and poems follows carefully structured mathematical relationships, reinforcing a sense of precision and intention. The stitching is incorporated as a graphic element, subtly echoing the essence of the title. For the dust jacket, we envisioned a poster composed of simple geometric shapes derived from fundamental graphic proportions, creating a striking contrast with the book’s minimal interior. The interaction of colors and overlapping forms gives each copy a unique visual identity. Abstract fluorescent screen printing introduces a vibrant layer, enhancing the overall sensory experience. Every decision throughout this project was guided by a commitment to visual rigor, meticulous craftsmanship, and the preservation of essential graphic traditions. Conceived as a visual extension of the collection, the graphic language translates the essence of each piece into a cohesive and immersive communication system. Imaginarium draws its primary inspiration from architecture, particularly the interplay of structure, geometry, light, and shadow. Each jewel reflects a careful balance between precision and experimentation, where form is both constructed and deconstructed through the manipulation of lines, volumes, and reflections. The collection is organized into three distinct families, each exploring a specific visual and material language. Lines &amp; Minimalism focuses on purity and reduction, highlighting delicate contours and subtle compositions. Reflexes investigates the behavior of light across surfaces, emphasizing brilliance, transparency, and optical effects through the use of polished metals and gemstones.&nbsp;Structures &amp; Shapes&nbsp;embraces more complex and sculptural forms, where bold geometries and layered constructions define the identity of each piece. Across all three families, the selection of metals and precious stones plays a fundamental role, reinforcing the conceptual narrative while adding depth and contrast. The pieces draw inspiration from architecture, exploring geometric forms through light and shadow, satellite views, and project blueprints that reveal depth and perspective. The collection investigates the limits of form and movement. It is divided into three families: 1. Lines &amp; Minimalism; 2. Reflections; 3. Structures &amp; Shapes. Each family explores a distinct typology of drawing, as well as specific metals and precious stones. In addition to developing the collection’s visual identity and expography, a key part of this project was the creation of a bilingual printed catalog, structured according to the three families. Printed cards were also produced to accompany the exhibition display, facilitating the consultation of each piece and its pricing. Across all materials, we adopted a simple visual language, establishing rhythm through the balance of imagery and editorial contrasts, with clear emphasis on transitions between sections. Another defining visual feature is the typographic choice: a sans-serif typeface for Portuguese content and a serif typeface for English text. Studies and tests conducted during the process highlighted the importance of surface contrast, resulting in a material identity capable of emphasizing both the raw elements and the underlying concept of the collection. Another key consideration was the exhibition’s setting. Initially launched in Brazil, it was designed to travel to Lisbon, Paris, and Barcelona, requiring practical and adaptable solutions for transportation and display in unpredictable locations. It was a particularly engaging process, shaped by ongoing dialogue, comments, and reflections between writer and designer throughout the review stages. In the fourth and final chapter (cases), we introduced a distinct graphic layout—an opportunity to expand the visual language and typographic treatment through gray-toned pages and arrow lines guiding paragraph navigation. The book also features a precise and intentional use of a blue Pantone color, reinforcing a key visual element of Pande Company. Above all, this is a publication conceived primarily for print.
